What I love about this idea is it's afforability and simplicity. These containers can be(and are) shipped anywhere and are put together like giant legos. Or, you can check out this single pop-out unit.

I read in Business Week that IKEA had a similar idea for housing building in Europe. It's very affordable, easy to assemble, comes in several boxes, and yet has a contemporary edge to it's look. (Just like everything in IKEA; did I mention I love IKEA?)
