How Can You Miss Me If I Never Go Away: Tenth Anniversary Edition

So, ya. I left my husband home alone for Thanksgiving AND our Tenth Wedding Anniversary. Don't look at me like that. He had to work. I hardly would have seem him anyway. AND he had turkey at his sisters', AND I left him lots of yummy frozen pizza, AND, AND...
And we've been married for TEN years :)
AND I came home to fantastically bright Christmas lights on the house, the tree up, and the packing rejects, formerly strewn around the living room, all picked up. (It was pretty much the best homecoming ever.)

The kids and I spent a week visiting my sister, frolicking with cousins, watching hotel cable TV entirely too late at night, swimming INSIDE, touring Temple Square, lugging around suitcases, and listening to audio books in the car. It all went surprisingly well.

AND... there is nothing quite like 20 hours in the car with three kids over Thanksgiving and a wedding anniversary to make me very, very grateful...

for my husband!

That's a lot of traveling in car. Our record longest road trip (so far) is 12 hours from LV to Provo. Luckily, we've shaved hours off since then.

Happy anniversary!!
